Transforming Education Together

On May 29, 2025, GNECC held a learning and knowledge-sharing meeting at Sunlodge Hotel to explore education system transformation and the breadth of skills needed for learners.

The event provided both global and local perspectives, with presentations from NEST/Brookings and the Ghana Education Service, followed by a panel discussion and group work. Participants critically examined what is working and what is not in Ghana’s education system, generating practical recommendations for reform.

The meeting concluded with clear action points to guide GNECC’s advocacy for a more inclusive and effective education system. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between policymakers, educators, and civil society in driving lasting change. GNECC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that education reforms address the needs of all learners in Ghana.
