AI Education Revolution: GNECC's Media Voice Amplifies Global Learning

gnecc20

On January 24, 2025, GNECC actively engaged in media communications surrounding the International Day of Education, which centered on the theme "AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation." Our media strategy highlighted critical discussions about artificial intelligence's transformative role in education, emphasizing the importance of maintaining human-centered learning approaches.

GNECC's media engagement was strategically conducted through two prominent television platforms. Senior Technical Advisor, Kezia Iris Dedoo represented the coalition during the mid-day news on Adom TV, while Technical Advisor, Charles Tsegah appeared on UTV, effectively amplifying our message about AI's role in education.

Through strategic media engagement, GNECC contributed to the national dialogue about how AI can complement, rather than replace, human educational experiences. We leveraged various platforms to underscore UNESCO's key messages about preserving human agency while embracing technological advancements in education.

Our media efforts aimed to raise awareness about AI's opportunities and challenges, promoting a balanced perspective that values both technological innovation and the irreplaceable human elements of learning.
