The Ahafo chapter of GNECC GHANA has celebrated this year’s Global Action Week for Education.
The chapter employed a Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to engage regional and district stakeholders in effective participation and planning.
The region applauded the government's significant progress in the education sector during the radio engagement.
The radio engagement which was held on High Radio 103.1 FM engaged duty bearers, parents, teachers, pupils, focus groups, chiefs, and elders in the Ahafo community
The radio engagement reached an estimated audience of about 850,000 persons across two regions and all six municipal districts in Ahafo.
The radio engagement was also in collaboration with the Regional Ghana Education Service (GES), and Tano North and South Municipal, Persons with Disabilities Directorate.
